Meet the Staff!
Hi my name is Chrissy Savaiano and I am currently a junior majoring in Spanish and Secondary Education with a minor in teaching English as a second language. I am the President of VAV, involved in my sorority, Kappa Delta and am facilitator for Mi Pueblo. I volunteered my freshman year at Centennial High School and it was a wonderful experience being able to work with students in the local community. Any questions please contact me at my email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
My name is Nataly and I am a senior majoring in Human Development and Family Studies with a minor in Spanish at UIUC. I have been a part of Vis a Vis since I was a freshman, and have had the opportunity to tutor in ESL and Spanish classrooms at Leal and International Prep. I am also involved in my sorority (Kappa Delta Chi), research at the Aging and Diversity Lab, intern at the Crisis Nursery, and am currently President for a health RSO called Minorities in Health Sciences (MHS). I am happy to continue volunteering and supporting Vis a Vis with new tutors! Feel free to reach out to me through my email at email@example.com.
Hi! I'm Emily and I am a junior majoring in Spanish and Education and minoring in Teaching English as a Second Language. During my freshman year on campus I was a Vis-A-Vis tutor at Centennial High School in accordance with my Spanish 232 class. During my sophomore year, I became a Tutor Coordinator to maintain involvement with the program. I am excited to be back this semester after a semester hiatus abroad this past fall. Feel free to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Hi, my name is Jasmine Boykin and I am a junior studying Political Science. I have been a part of Vis-A-Vis since my freshman year when I signed up on Quad Day and have been a coordinator since my sophomore year!
Hi my name is Zach, and I'm a senior majoring in Political Science with a minor in Chemistry. I've been in Vis-A-Vis since my junior year, and this will be my first semester as a coordinator. I initially joined the organization out of interest, and I quickly realized how rewarding it was to help educate students. Through this RSO, I have been able to act as a classroom aide in a biology classroom at Central High School.
Hi I’m Robyn and I’m a coordinator for Vis-A-Vis! I’m a senior and this is my third year working with Vis-A-Vis. I love working with kids and being a part of this amazing organization. Babysitting night has always been my favorite event for us and I can’t wait for it this year!
